Firefox

Mozilla Firefox is the best ever browser I have used.  It puts internet
explorer to shame.  Firefox is so much faster than Internet Explorer but
the best thing about it is the fact that it is open source and there are so many
different addons you can download for it.

Firefox is great, but I also use K-Meleon with Gecko engine, which is simply faster than the Mozilla engine, and uses lower memory.

Well, if you get hung up on one type of anything (web browser, word processor, tax preparation or accounting software, particular kind of ice cream or hot wings - don't get me started on those!) you are eventually going to suffer if your only source of - whatever it is - dries up or slacks behind. Do you remember Netscape 2.0 browser you thought was the best there is? Where is it now?
Anyways, there is a great variety of web browsers that could very well meet your needs better than FF (which I love and use right now!). I remember one time after one particularly bad FF upgrade (3.0.4) on my Ubuntu system I could not use it (too detailed to describe here) and had to install Opera. Very good browser as well, I tell ya. The only reason I went back was that I had a bunch of plugins I needed for whatever it is I do. I'm sure Opera has many as well, just never had time to go through.
So, yeah, FF is great but look around and always keep your options open!
