First LUG of the Season is Tonight!

Woo! It is finally here! The first LUG meeting of the year!

Feel free to come up and meet new people, catch up with returning luggers, and eat some pizza.

Also, we need to hold an election for officers tonight. Come on up if you think you have what it takes to make the LUG a better place(of if you just want a silly title).

WHO: You, me, and other people
WHAT: The first LUG of the year!
WHEN: 6pm, Tonight
WHERE: Dearborn 401 ... you know how we do
WHY: This is the first LUG of the year! Plus we have free pizza.

P.S. Feel free to bring a textbook and enjoy the studious atmosphere.

Now, forget the textbooks! There won't ever be time for those, I'm sure. Well, on the other hand they might be useful to keep PC motherboards from touching metals parts :-). Just kidding. No, seriously, you should take Geexbox 1.2.1 distro for a spin tonight! It is an awesome small media-player only distro that runs on everything! I had it run on Pentium II which may be even slower than that old junk PC sitting in the far corner of the lab! You won't even need your mp3s with you - thing connects to shoutcast and starts playing right out of the box. So small - my HD-less PII works from a 128Mb CF card through a CF-to-IDE adaptor. Highly recommended! And remember - no beer!
