InstallFest2
The Oregon State University Linux User Group will be hosting another install fest, offering free help installing GNU/Linux on desktops and Laptops.
Info about the event
- Who: Anybody interested in installing Linux.
- What: OSLUG InstallFest2
- Where: ValleyLibrary, 3rd Floor, Willamette Room
- When: Friday, January 28th. 4-8pm
- Why: If you need help, would like to help, or simply want to learn more about Linux.
Please BACKUP ALL DATA on your drives before bringing them to the install fest; in the rare event of data corruption. Thank you. Note: Please see the OSLUG Disclaimer
Materials to be Provided:
- Install CDs for Gentoo, Debian, Fedora, etc.
- Partition Magic (and others?) for resizing Windows.
- Requests?
