Val Henson is a Linux kernel developer at Intel. She has 7 years of industry experiance, primarily as an operating systems developer in the areas of file systems and networking. She has worked for everything from tiny government software subcontractors to gigantic hardware companies. She is active in women in computing, especially in the area of women in Linux. For fun, she maintains the TCP/IP Drinking Game, goes hiking, and parties with her fellow kernel developers at every opportunity.
